Before the Storm

There are 34 achievements^[1] (35 trophies)^[2] that can be earned in Life is Strange: Before the Storm, which involve writing optional graffiti. There is one platinum trophy in all three games that is exclusive to PlayStation consoles.

In Before the Storm, a similar mechanic is present: each object with a graffiti opportunity is drawn and hinted at in Chloe's journal. The names of some achievements are references to Shakespeare's play The Tempest or other media.

Trivia[]

The achievement "I See U Saw" is a possible reference to the My First I Can Read Book I See, You Saw by Nurit Karlin.
The achievement "The Last Unicorn" is a reference to the 1968 fantasy novel The Last Unicorn by American author Peter S. Beagle.
One of the achievements the player can collect in Episode 1 is called "Dramatis Personae" which is a reference to classical drama. The term, deriving from Latin, describes the (main) characters in a dramatic work written in a list, usually featured at the beginning of the dramatic work's text.^[3]
The achievement "Awake, Dear Heart", which the player receives for finishing Episode 1, is a reference to the same part of The Tempest the title for Episode 1 derives from.
The achievement "O, Wonder!", which the player receives for finishing Episode 2, is a reference to the same part of Miranda's speech in The Tempest the title for Episode 2 derives from.
The achievement "All the Devils are Here", which the player receives for finishing Episode 3, is a reference to the same part of The Tempest the title for Episode 3 derives from.
On October 19th, 2017, together with the release of Episode 2, the achievement "Complete Farewell" has been replaced with "Before the Storm", which simply requires the player to complete all three episodes of the game. This modification was done to allow all players, even those who don't own the Deluxe Edition, to achieve 100% completion.
Prior the Episode 3's release, there was an achievement called "Ashes to Ashes" at the position where "Drunk Drawer" is now, that could be seen in Steam's database.
