"So much destruction...all because Rachel got angry at her dad. Who's been lying to her all her life. And he's still lying." — Chloe's talking to William Price in Hell is Empty
The Burned Forest is a location along a road where Chloe Price has a visual hallucination of her father in Episode 3 of Life is Strange: Before the Storm. The forest burned down due to the fire started by Rachel Amber.
Episode Three - "Hell Is Empty"[]
Chloe drives through the burned forest on her way to the old mill. She narrowly manages to avoid colliding with a logging truck and parks on the side of the road. After briefly contemplating the destruction indirectly caused by James Amber lying to his daughter, Chloe talks to a seemingly life-like appearance of William about being a dad and asks whether he has ever lied to her. Just as she is ready to hear the answer, however, William reminds Chloe that he is dead, so he can't tell her anything. Chloe returns to her truck and talks with William for a while, before turning on the music and continuing to drive towards the mill.
