Dana's room is number 218 in the Prescott Dormitory at Blackwell Academy. Max Caulfield has the opportunity to enter this room in the first three episodes and examine various items.

Episode One - "Chrysalis"

Max can look around Dana Ward's room after freeing her from Juliet Watson, who was obstructing the door to Dana's room due to suspecting Dana of "sexting" her boyfriend.

The desk has Warren Graham's flash drive on it, as well as Dana's laptop. Max can use the flashdrive with it to look at the folders contained on it. She can also have a look at Dana's social media profile page, revealing her date of birth and her extremely popular socialite page.

In the bin next to the desk, Max notices a pregnancy test kit. On the coffee table, there is also a Doctor's appointment note, which is presumably for an abortion. Max can bring up the pregnancy with Dana by picking up the test, to Dana's disappointment, as she shoos Max away for being nosey. Max can then rewind and simply bring up the topic with her instead.

There is a poorly written note from Logan Robertson in the room, which includes a financial help offer. Dana seems to be upset about the note. It can be presumed that he's the father of her aborted child, and that they no longer have a good relationship.

Dana is a typical cheerleader, and has school pride - evident from the Bigfoots merchandise all over the room, her slate, reading "Stomp 'em Bigfoots", eager for her school team to succeed, as well as her cheerleading outfit.

Episode Two - "Out of Time"

Max can come into Dana's room in the morning. The door is open and Trevor is writing a love message on Dana's slate, while Dana is dancing to loud music on her bed. There are a few notable changes in the layout of the room: the crumpled message from Logan is now is the waste bin, contraceptive pills and makeup are standing atop Dana's chest of drawers. Trevor's jacket can be seen lying on a chair in the right corner of the room. The small table besides the sofa is now occupied by a box containing Halloween props.

Episode Three - "Chaos Theory"

Dana's room door is open again. Dana is sitting on the sofa, covering her head with hands. Following Kate Marsh's incident, the box with Halloween stuff has been moved under the chair, and the Bigfoots banner is no longer hanging on the wall.

• She can look at the Bigfoots banner. (Comment: "Dana takes her Blackwell spirit seriously.")
• She can look at and use Dana's laptop to view her social page. (Comment: Look: "Oooo, Dana's Facebook wall is up and running... I shouldn't look..."
  Use: "Of course a popular cheerleader like Dana would have a million friends.
  So fascinating to get a peek into Dana's social media world...and yes, Max, so terribly wrong.")
• She can look at a Vortex Club sticker. (Comment: "It would be a cool sticker without the words.")
• She can look at the letter from Logan. (Comment: "This is both sad, and pathetic.")
• She can look at and speak to Dana. (Comment: Look: "Dana really does look stressed about all this."
  Look after picking up the test: "Great. I made Dana even more stressed.")
• She can look at and pick up Warren's flash drive (required). (Comment: Look: "There's that damn flash drive."
  Take: "Must protect my precious, so Max never has to chase it down again.")
• She can plug Warren's flash drive into Dana's computer. (Comment: "I better make sure everything is still in there... I think Warren forgot to hide the Party Buster folder... Not that I would open it no matter how tempting. I have my self-respect.")
• She can look at and pick up the pregnancy test. (Comment: Look: "That looks like a home pregnancy test..."
  Look after rewind: "La la la, I don't see that pregnancy test.")

After picking up the test,

• Max can look at Dana's clinic note. (Comment: "I assume Dana kept the appointment...")
• She can look at a maternity book by Dr. Bill. (Comment: "Good Lord. Dana really was on her own.")

Episode Two - "Out of Time"

• Max can look at the box with Halloween props. (Comment: "That is so damn cute how much Dana is into this Halloween party.")
• She can look at Dana's cheerleader outfit. (Comment: "I can't even imagine what life would be like being a cheerleader. Dramatic, I guess.")
• She can look at Trevor's jacket. (Comment: "Trevor is making himself comfortable. Hope they don't get busted.")
• She can look at the Bigfoots banner. (Comment: "Dana takes her Blackwell spirit seriously.")
• She can look at the crumpled letter in the trash from Logan. (Comment: "This is both sad, and pathetic.")
• She can look at Dana's rollerblades. (Comment: "Rollerblades! I wanted to be a derby girl, but I almost broke my feet just putting them on...")
• She can look at Dana's makeup. (Comment: "Speaking of Halloween, look at all this makeup. At least Dana knows how to use it.")
• She can look at the contraceptive pills. (Comment: "Hmmmm...")
• She can look at and use Dana's laptop to view her social media page. (Comment: Look: "Curiosity killed the Max..."
  Use: "Who will survive and what will be left of them? Don't say that out loud, dork.")
  • She can look at an email from Dana to all Blackwell students. (Comment: "That would be fun to put skulls and ghosts all over Blackwell...")
  • She can look at a website called "Costume Central". (Comment: "Like I could pull this look off... Hello, Victoria!")
• She can look at and speak to Dana. (Comment: "I've never seen Dana this bouncy and happy without a pot of coffee.")

Episode Three - "Chaos Theory"

• Max can look at Dana's slate. (Comment: "Dana's really hurting over this.")
• She can look at the box with Halloween props. (Comment: "That is so damn cute how much Dana is into this Halloween party.")
• She can look at the crumpled letter from Logan. (Comment: "This is both sad, and pathetic.")
• She can look at the Vortex Club sticker. (Comment: "Yes, the Vortex Club does indeed suck.")
• She can look at and use Dana's laptop, which is initially opened on an email from Trevor to Dana. (Comment: Look: "Dana clearly doesn't mind if I peruse her laptop..."

• She can view an email from Juliet to Dana on the laptop. (Comment: "If Dana talks to Juliet about this... She's going to wish she didn't.")
