Izzie Margolis is the ex-girlfriend and former bandmate of Steph Gingrich. The two broke up and disbanded prior to the events of Life is Strange: True Colors.

Izzie is a minor character in Life is Strange: True Colors and is a deuteragonist in the spin-off novel Life Is Strange: Steph's Story.

Personality

Izzie seems to be insecure about how others would perceive her, due to her gender identity. An example of this is when she chose to leave Haven Springs, Colorado without Steph, stating that "she didn't want to be the only trans person in a small rural town", implying that she would be subject to unfair treatment.

Appearance

Izzie is a thin, pale-skinned woman with shoulder length black hair with bangs and brown eyes. In a photo found of her and Steph, Izzie is seen wearing a black graphic hoodie, red-black plaid pants, along with wearing black eyeliner. She has a septum piercing, and spider bites on the right side.

Background

Izzie is a transgender woman. While living in Seattle, Washington, she and Steph met and soon entered a relationship with each other. Together, they formed a two-piece punk band called Drug Store Makeup until their disbandment when Steph decided she wanted to stay in Haven Springs.

Vinyl Resting Place

Izzie met Steph for the first time while passing out flyers for her then band, Vinyl Resting Place, in which she was a guitarist. While she also wrote songs for the band, they were unreceptive to her work and ultimately she was asked to leave the group due to creative differences, and romantic conflict with the band's singer, Astrid.

• Steph Gingrich – (Ex-Girlfriend) – Izzie and Steph met and entered into a relationship while living in Seattle. Upon Steph finding talent in playing the drums, she and Izzie formed a two-piece punk band called Drugstore Makeup. Their touring brought them to the Black Lantern bar in Haven Springs. Steph decided she wanted to stay in town, while Izzie was uncomfortable being the only transgender person in a rural area, causing their breakup.
