The Sacred Hope Hospital is a hospital in Life is Strange 2 in Redding, California. Its first appearance is in Episode 4 where Sean Diaz has awoken from a coma following the dramatic events at the end of Episode 3.

Episode Four- "Faith"

Sean has been in hospital for two months since the blast at Merrill's farm which left him in a coma. His hair is now shaved and his left eye is bandaged. After waking from his coma, he receives treatments from nurse Joey Peterson alongside interrogation from Agent Flores regarding the incident. At night, Sean escapes from his room either by: knocking out the guard, convincing Joey to help, knocking Joey out if Sean fails to convince him to help, or prying open the window using a metal bar from in the bathroom. After recovering his things and stealing medical supplies, Sean climbs down some scaffolding and may either see Finn (and having the option to talk to him) or Merrill in another room before he heads to the parking lot. He finds a car which is not locked and uses it to travel to Haven Point, Nevada.

Sean's Room

During the "New Perspectives" checkpoint:

• Sean can look at and use the call button. (Comment: "I'm supposed to call the nurse when I'm done eating... uh... guess I'm done.")

• He can check a ceiling tile. (Comment: "Too bad this isn't a movie... can't even fit.")
• He can look at and pick up some towels. (Comment: Look: "Maybe I could rig a decoy Sean in the bed...")
  • Afterwards, he can make a fake body in the bed. (Comment: "That looks so fake... but it might work for a second...")
• He can look at, close, and reopen the curtains. After retrieving a pipe and closing the curtains, he can ambush the guard (Comment: Look: "I should close these so nobody sees me sleepwalking away..."
  Close: "Can I have some privacy, please...")
• He can look at an evacuation plan. (Comment: "Let's see, I just gotta get past that locked door and an angry guard...")
• He can flip the bathroom light switch on and off. (required)
• He can check his eye in the mirror.
• He can check the left grab bar. (Comment: "Yeah, that metal bar isn't going anywhere.")
• He can check and tear off the right grab bar. (required) (Comment: Look: "This one isn't screwed in... I could pull it off, but it's gonna be loud.")
• After convincing him, Sean can look at Joey and, after finding it, hit him with the grab bar. (Comment: Look: "Joey is the real deal... I feel bad I dragged him into this.")

  • He can look at the hospital reception desk. (Comment: "It's dead tonight... works for me.")
  • He can look at the cars in the parking lot. (Comment: "One stupid car... then I'm outta here...")
  • He can look at the scaffolding on the building. (Comment: "I could slip into one of those rooms under construction...")
• After obtaining the grab bar, he can break the window's safety and go outside.
• After going outside and shuffling along the wall, he can escape via the scaffolding.
