The Vortex Club Party on October 4, 2013 is the Vortex Club party where Kate Marsh was drugged and filmed at prior to the game's events.
Overview[]
When Kate Marsh attended the party, Nathan Prescott spiked a drink of hers. She tells Max Caulfield in "Out of Time" that after she drank it, she started to feel sick and dizzy and therefore ended up making out with several strangers, which was caught on tape by Victoria Chase. Sometime later Nathan told Kate that he would take her to the hospital but he actually took her to Mark Jefferson's Dark Room, where she was photographed by Jefferson.
The date is also confirmed by David's tracking files on Nathan's car which show that he was at the Prescott Barn at 10:56pm on October 4.

- As an official easter egg by Square Enix, players can actually visit the website for Kate's video. http://katesvid.com/ is an actual link that leads to a blog with a single post and a video that was "removed" by Youtube, linking to the fact that Victoria took the video down after Kate's suicide attempt.
